n ages long past there existed a powerful empire. Ruled by a despotic king this empire enslaved all the lands to its west. After the king died the empire was thrown into chaos. The forces allied against the ancient kingdom seized the opportunity to topple it once and for all. Just as the war reached its bloody peak the empire disappeared from the world without a trace. It left behind a horde of strange monsters which spread throughout the land.
